A striking reversible necklace created in honour of Hecate; goddess of witchcraft, crossroads, liminal spaces, protection and the mysteries that lie beyond the threshold.

This beautiful stainless-steel pendant features a different Hecate design on each side, allowing the necklace to reveal two distinct faces of her symbolism depending on how it falls or is worn.

One side depicts Hecate beneath the triple moon, surrounded by richly coloured celestial tones, while the reverse carries powerful imagery associated with her mysteries, including keys, crossed torches and a labyrinthine symbol set against a deep cosmic background.

The imagery has been applied to the stainless-steel disc in a beautifully detailed, high-definition finish with an exceptionally smooth surface.

I have suspended the pendant beneath a genuine obsidian crystal orb, framed with ornate silver-plated filigree bead caps and finished with a silver-plated bail.

Obsidian has long been associated with protection, grounding, truth, energetic shielding and the revealing of what lies beneath the surface,  making it a wonderfully fitting stone to accompany a piece devoted to Hecate.

The pendant is supplied on an 18-inch snake chain and presented in a drawstring pouch.
