This afternoon brings the June Full Moon, the strawberry moon. Our coven has a wonderful outdoor ritual planned around our fire pit, soaking up all of the wonderful energy that the night has to offer.
This years Strawberry Moon falls under the sign of Sagittarius, bringing with it an expansive energy of transformation. This is a lovely time to perform spells to do with creativity and manifestation.
I've had a sift through my trusty Book Of Shadows and came across a simple spell I think would be lovely to share here on our blog. The spell, written by myself, calls on our Deities from the Greek pantheon and seeks to manifest creativity, inspiration and good fortune.

What you'll need:
Dried or Fresh Herbs ~ Rosemary, Thyme, Oregano
Spell Candle ~ Green
Crystals: Amethyst, Citrine, Aventurine, Clear Quartz
Resins for Incense: Amber or Honey Amber
A drawstring pouch or muslin and string to tie
Preparation:
- Prepare for the spell work in your usual manner; Cleanse your space, Cast your circle, annoint and dress your spell candle, should you wish to.
- Place your spell candle and incense resin in suitable holders and arrange your crystals and herbs in a circle around them.
- Light your candle. As you do this focus on your intention, feel the energy manifesting as you welcome the divine into your heart
Once your spell candle has burned down completely, gather your crystals and herbs. Place them in your pouch or muslin and carry them with you or keep safely on your altar until your spell has begun to manifest.
